Your first 90 days as a CS or sales engineering leader, with someone in your corner.
Just promoted to Head of Customer Success or CS Manager? I mentor you one to one through your first 90 days, so you finish with a plan your founder backs, a team rhythm that works and the credibility to lead.
Founder or CEO? Just promoted someone into customer success leadership? Give them a mentor for their first 90 days. I invoice the company.

Chris Sparshott
I've led customer success and renewals teams, from APAC Head of Partner Renewals at IBM Asia Pacific to Fractional Head of APAC Customer Success at Tradify. I remember what the first 90 days felt like. In 2026 I mentored a team leader at SearchPilot through ScaleWise's Scale Coaching programme for six months. I also mentored a team of 10 across APAC at Tradify, lifting their performance and execution.
The promotion came with a title. It didn't come with a playbook.
Something to show for it, not just good conversations.
Three months, six sessions, one plan
Each fortnight we pick one main outcome, the few actions that move it and the evidence that will show progress. We work on what's in front of you. Things often come up that need addressing now, and that's where we focus. Throughout, we align your team's work with the company's vision and mission, so it clearly moves the business where it wants to go.
What people bring: managing former peers, one-to-ones and performance, hiring CSMs, metrics, renewals and churn risk, onboarding, working with sales and product, QBRs.
- 01Session one: the scope and your 90-day planWe work through the scope of the mentoring: what you want from it and what we'll focus on. Then we map your remit, your team and what your founder expects, and start the plan together.
- 02Five fortnightly 1:1 sessions60 minutes each on Google Meet, on the real challenges you bring that fortnight.
- 03Questions by email in betweenShort questions as they come up, so you're not waiting a fortnight for an answer.
- 04Then month to month, if you want itKeep going after the three months, month to month at US$200 a session.
“I have managed to turn around under performing employees and added repeatable processes and structures.”
“Wow! What a great experience! Chris took me from not understanding QBRs to truly knowing what I’m talking about! He is a consummate professional – but he is also very caring and kind. Communication was off the charts! Highly recommended!”
“Thank you for your support and the valuable contributions you’ve made in helping SearchPilot grow, we truly appreciate your expertise.”

Built for new CS leaders, not everyone.
A good fit if you…
- ✓were promoted into your first CS leadership role in the last year
- ✓lead a small team in a B2B SaaS business
- ✓want to work with a senior operator who has done the job, as a sounding board, not a course
Not the right fit if you…
- ✕want someone to run the team for you (that's fractional leadership)
- ✕need an operator review of your post-sales lifecycle: see the Post-Sales Reset
- ✕are looking for a certificate or a group course

Who is this for?
People recently promoted to lead customer success or sales engineering, usually in a B2B SaaS business with a small team. If it's your first time leading the function, it's built for you.
How is this different from coaching or a course?
There's no curriculum. You work one to one with a senior operator who has led these teams, on the real problems in front of you that fortnight.
Is the first call really free?
Yes. It's a 30-minute temperature check to see if we can work together. No obligation.
What happens in the free call?
You tell me about your role, your team and what's on your mind. I tell you honestly whether mentoring is the right help, and which option fits.
Can I book a single session instead of the programme?
Yes. A single 60-minute session is US$250. Book one whenever you need it.
How do the sessions run?
60 minutes on Google Meet, every fortnight on the programme, with short questions by email in between.
What happens after the three months?
Keep going month to month at US$200 a session.
Can my company pay?
Yes. I invoice the company directly. Use "Send this to your manager" above for a ready-made email.
How do I pay, and what if I need to move a session?
Payment is upfront once we agree the dates. Move a session free with 48 hours' notice.
What time zones do you cover?
I'm in New Zealand and work with people across APAC, the UK, Europe and the US. We pick a time that suits you.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes. What we discuss stays between us, including from whoever pays.
